SENDsuccess is the name used by Whitefield School’s Outreach Service and Joseph Clarke School’s Educational Service in Waltham Forest.
Together we support mainstream schools looking to help their pupils who have sensory impairment, autism, learning and cognitive disabilities. The team is made up of an experienced team of teachers with specialist qualifications in visual impairment, teachers of the deaf, SEN outreach teachers and an audiology technician. We also have an ICT specialist and mobility officer.
We work with children and young people aged from 0 – 19 and developing a partnership with families, schools and other professionals is central to our work.
The service is advised by a reference group with a rolling membership of the local authority, families, mainstream educational settings, and statutory and voluntary sector partners who interface with the service. Please contact us if you would like to be involved in this at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Our mission? To provide the support students need to remain in mainstream schools.
If you are looking to make a referral, the quickest way to do it is to use one of our referral forms for schools, parents or healthcare professionals. You can also find hints and tips on each section’s Resources pages.
