This introductory training session guides you through the Assessment Through Teaching (ATT) approach for the assessment, teaching and monitoring of students with persistent reading difficulties. Schools who join will be able to enrol Teaching Assistants and Intervention teachers for a training package on how to use the Reading accuracy and Fluency Assessment to confidently assess and teach students with reading difficulties, using the Assessment Through Teaching Method (ATT). The purpose of this framework and approach is to support schools to meet the needs of a growing number of pupils who present with persistent reading difficulties.
